The view a few hundred feet from our campsite. The peaks towered 1000 feet over the lake. Gorgeous!
The best time to hike over Kearsarge Pass is during the summer. Just make sure you're prepared for daytime thunderstorms. We forgot and had to use trashbags as ponchos. Hahaha

This picture for me really works well in black & white and I prefer it this way, this is incredibly captured by the artist, in my opinion because it seems to me that the shot was captured in the middle of a lake I can almost feel myself inside it as if i am actually there!
I love the very dark/harsh/Barron reflection/shadow on the left of the lake compared with the light airy reflection to the middle/right that reflects the beautiful mountains but somewhat distorted by the ripples of the lake which I LOVE.
There is not really any negatives in this photo from my opinion, I'd love to see what the sky would look like with color and the rest as it is now.
I have fallen in love with this photo! It's just so very well done! The absence of color makes this piece so much more moving, I like how you can see the shadows on the mountains and the water! The reflection is by far the crowning glory of the photo. You have chosen to take the photo at a good angle, every part of the photograph its together, there is meaningless space. I also enjoy how one side of the landscape is dark and the other is light, this gives a good contrasting effect to the photo! Well done and I look forward to what you have in store in the future! Keep up the good work!
